About
A public rarity service for Southern Africa.
Rarity Radar helps twitchers and researchers follow unusual bird sightings with shared context, verified alerts, and an open records feed.
What we do
We collect community-submitted sightings and map them against regional range data to surface rare, out-of-range, or vagrant species.
Alerts are curated with evidence and notes so the public record stays useful for both field birders and researchers.
